Crested Butte, known mostly for its winter activities, is a perfect place to come this spring, summer or fall and enjoy camping or RV-ing in the seclusion of the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
Facilities vary from full hookups and drive throughs to rustic tent sites and everything in between. Don't have a tent or RV? No problem. Some of the campgrounds have camping cabins, or you can rent a camper or motorhome on site. There is one thing common among all of the options: there is no extra charge for the views!
